Thank you for taking the time.

Net Neutrality

I have started several blogs since Friday and dismissed all of them as I was unable to come up with cohesive thought. There aremany things that are happening in our world these days and a lot to talk about. Today however is the day we talk about Net Neutrality.

So WHAT CAN WE DO?

CALL YOUR SENATORS! CALL YOUR REPS!  DO THE RESEARCH!

For as much time as you have spent reading this you could of made a call, signed a petition, written a quick letter to your congress to let them know WE WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS!

“But this doesn’t impact me” is the bullshittiest thing you could say. Every person who has ever shopped online, visited Facebook, amazon, paid their bill online, checked out a new link, found a new amazing website, discovered a new music site, listened to the radio online, listened to #podcasts, watched TV from their phone, streamed any kind of content, had to do research for work, for school, for their kids, for their kids school projects, had to look up information on google, checked out wiki for any and all reasons, reached out to a lost loved one, visited several pages to find them a best airline deal, hotel deal, best place to visit in the world, has ever wondered what the hype about Reddit is, WordPress, LiveJournal, Weebly, tried to create their own business online, extended the reach of their base through the internet, and the list goes on and on and on.

These things will not only come to a halt but will cost you money every time you go outside of ‘your limits’. We are working finally on uncapped data from our cellphones and to hurt us they have decided that they will find a new way to charge us for what should be and is FREE.

Call yourself a patriot? Believe in FREEDOM? Believe that the people have the power? SHOW THEM!

We will take this to the streets, we will all turn off our cellphones, we will oppose their actions so I beg of you, GO SUPPORT NET NEUTRALITY!

Episode 15: The Age of Aquarius, A Conscious Universe, Astronomy vs Astrology and Coffee!

Miles & Crawford are back this week to take a walk on the weirder side of things. Are we in the Age of Aquarius? We talk about Astronomy vs. Astrology, Pseudo-Science, Planet effects, touch on physics just a bit and then get distracted and meander into random topics before bringing it all full circle just as we do every week!

Grateful for Guns(?)

I wonder how grateful we must be for the NRA, I mean without them what kind of real change and implementation could we do to gun legislation?
Do you think when other people sit at home in some state of surprise, they are really surprised at another shooting or are they more surprised on where it happened ?

We must be really grateful to the president of the united states because there is never an act of terrorism that happens in this country unless the color of the persons skin is darker than his. He even offered that this could actually be a case of mental health after he just signed a bill a few months ago allowing those with mental health issues to have guns.

We have to be grateful for our kids to learn what to do in case of a school shooter because if they are not ready to look through the end of a cold metal  gun barrel, than do they really know what living is anyway?

We have to be grateful for our congress and senators sitting on their hands doing absolutely nothing when mayhem breaks out because where else could our tax dollars go if not to pay for them to do nothing? We have to really appreciate how hard they work against us because we keep voting them in office.

I wonder how grateful we must be for the land that imprisons us through fear and poverty because with freedom and wealth we might actually have a chance at a real future.

There is a lot to be said and more than enough that needs to be done but we are so grateful for the death counts to not include our names that we simply let nothing happen to ourselves but to everyone else.

I was sitting at work today reading the latest news wondering what the hell our problem is in this country. Every one is getting ready for the Holiday(s) and talking about all the things that they are thankful for, and I wonder, are we really this grateful for the life given to us that we do nothing to make it better?
